I am a child of the universe.

I deserve total recognition of this in the light of God.

Being a child of the universe,
    I want to live in a world without war
    I want to live in a world without starvation
    I want to live in a world without pestilence
    I want to live in a world of love, peace and harmony

Because I am a child of the universe.

Several months back, someone asked for a translation of the Cambodian
poem found on the Union album.  I wrote it down as told by Jon Anderson
in a interview I had taped.  I finally found where I wrote it down.
Here is Jon's translation from that interview:

  "I am a child of the Universe
   I deserve total recognition of this,
   And the light of God
   And, being a child of the Universe,
   I want to live in a world without war...starvation...pestillence,
   I want to live in a world of love, peace and harmony.
   Because I am a child of the Universe."
